Carefor is Eastern Ontario’s leading not for profit supporting seniors, people with disabilities and their caregivers through a time of need.

In Renfrew County, Ottawa and Eastern Counties, our staff support our clients and their families in numerous ways, including home care, community support services, palliative programs and at our three retirement homes.

Our roots run deep in Eastern Ontario. As the founding chapter of the Victorian Order of Nurses, Carefor has supported generations of people – your family, friends, teachers, neighbours and more by giving them caring, community and connection.

Everything we do is related to the wellness of seniors and people living with disabilities and our goal is enriched lives and supported caregivers.

Your gift will help us bring caring and dignity to people in many ways, including:

• Training for our homecare staff

• Subsidies for seniors who can’t afford some programs and services such as transportation and adult day programs for people with dementia

• Making sure low income seniors have housing they can afford

• Providing meals to isolated seniors
